What are ElastX Transfers?
This brand new product uses flexible inks that adhere at low temps so you can brand your apparel without fear of cracking or design limitations that Silk Screening has never overcome. Crisp, clean, vibrant full colour printing allows for quality photographic transfers and designs containing gradients. Something that just can’t be done through the Silk Screen process.
Available in Hot Peel or Cold Peel
Hot Peel Transfers
Hot peel are slightly shinier than the cold peel but allow for faster production.
How It Works
Press the garment for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture, then apply the transfer for about 10 seconds (depending on the size of your graphic). You can immediately peel the transfer sheet away from your graphic. We recommend a second press to really sink the transfer into the clothing for durability up to 50+ washes.
Cold Peel Transfers
Cold Peel transfers have a more matte finish than the hot peel. If you’re looking for a dull finish, this is the way to go.
How It Works
Press the garment for a few seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture, then apply the transfer for about 10 seconds (depending on the size of your graphic). Now, set the garment aside to cool. Once cool, peel the transfer away from your graphic. Again, we recommend a second hit to really sink the transfer into the clothing for ultimate longevity and client satisfaction.

Pricing
ElastX is cheaper than any other heat transfer product on the market.
Pricing is $0.12 per square inch of your design. Minimum order is 100 pieces.
Example:
A 4″ x 3″ logo measures 12 square inches
12 x $0.12 = $1.44 per logo
Minimum order of 100 pieces
100 x $1.44 = $144 CDN

Artwork Specs
Artwork must be sent at the size you want it printed. If that is not possible, you must indicate the exact sizing required for your finished piece. Please Note: enlarging a low resolution raster file can result in poor image quality.
All files will be evaluated to determine if they are print ready. Files that require additional art time to get them print ready may incur additional charges, which can delay your order.
Minimum thickness for all lines is 1 pt (or .014″). Any lines smaller than this may not print. All negative spaces (where shirt shows through) need to be a minimum thickness equivalent to 2 pts (or .028″).
Vector Files: Adobe® Illustrator®, .eps, .pdf
Raster Files: .tif, .jpg, .psd, .png, .pdf, .gif, .bmp
Other Files*: .doc, .txt, .ppt
*Generally these file formats are not usable, but can be used as a template to create artwork.
A resolution of 300 dpi/ppi OR dpi @ 100% size is preferred.
Designs should be provided as CMYK.
Vector files are preferred over raster, eps or ai files with embedded images if needed.
Raster files should be provided without backgrounds. High resolution png’s work best.
For vector artwork, please convert all fonts to outlines (Illustrator®) before submitting your file to us. For Photoshop® artwork, please rasterize/ render all layers that are type.
Remember, once your text is converted it can no longer be edited, so you may want to save a copy BEFORE rasterizing/ outlining so you can edit the original artwork in the future.
